This patent is an excellent example of a patent that might be useable to stop a knockoff should anyone do it intentionally or accidentally. But it's also a good example of NOT owning much of the inventiveness that might actually be worth protecting. I don't know for sure because I haven't studied all the details but they are all locked in only when in combination with the first claim, the only independent one. And it's trivial to get around the first claim, don't do tapered sides or don't do vertical separators and you can use any of the other inventive niceties with impunity (unless the applicant got separate patents for them too, which I doubt but haven't checked).
