Walk-behind tiller

Okay, I got tired of looking for independent inventor patents in this area of the classification list and settled for this assigned patent. What is the patent all about? It's really for the handle bars of the tiller--but even they are described in such detail in the claims that avoiding them is probably a minimal problem. The images shown are only a selected subset of the many different views and details provided in the original patent figures.

Will these handle bars be "the" key piece that sways buyers away from competing products? Certainly maybe in a few cases but probably not sufficiently, on that grounds, to justify the patent. What does Honda think based on the tillers shown on their web site? I've operated walk-behind tillers before; I can tell you some of the shown hand positions (not all in the images I selected) would NOT be ones I'd find useful.
